The Nut Farm is a beautiful destination wedding venue, for your friends and family to enjoy. We are situated in the Harties valley, between a breathtakingly beautiful mountain range and a vast pecan nut orchard. We are close enough to Johannesburg and Pretoria for easy traveling and world-class amenities.
Wedding Coordinator Included
Planning a wedding remotely can get tricky, but with our in-house Wedding Coordinator liaising with the bridal couple, we are able to plan everything ahead of time, including a shuttle service, accommodation and catering.

We know you work hard, and being a destination wedding venue, we realise that the days are just not long enough to fit in a face-to-face meeting, so why not meet with our Coordinator in the comfort of your own home and discuss all the important things for your special day?
Fire pits
Cozy up in our sunken fire pits and bomas on those chilly winter nights. We will stock the fire pits and bomas to burn all night, creating that ambience needed for great photo opportunities.
Outdoor Chapel and Cocktail Lounge
Get married at our outdoor chapel and exchange your vows whilst staring out into our beautiful lavender orchard, surrounded by our lush pecan nut trees.
Relax at our open-air cocktail lounge, with a roof of African designed basket lights, and cuddled around a towering pecan tree. Order a gin cocktail from our outdoor bar while gazing at the incredible views of the majestic Magalies mountain range or take advantage of the perfect photo op and swing to your heart’s content on our industrial swings.
Shuttle Service
We can arrange to shuttle for you and your guests to and from their B&Bs, so everyone can have a good time.
